The Spellings Test!

It's back tomorrow morning and Producer James and I go head to head!  I think he's in the lead at the moment so I'm going to try and thrash him tomorrow morning.

Be careful with hoax e-mails that appear to be from your bank.  I got caught out yesterday and stupidly put my details in and spent an hour on the phone last night changing passwords and all sorts.  What an idiot I am!  It was on my phone so I didn't notice the dodgy browser so just be careful.

This morning I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat because we had on the wonderful Floella Benjamin that used to be on Playschool with Humpty Dumpty.  She's an absolute legend and yo can catch our chat with her after 6 tomorrow morning if you missed it.

There's been a clue for Big John's Ultimate Ear Test and the clue is 'above or below!'  I haven't got a clue what it means but try and tie it in with your guess to see if you've got it right?  It has to be won by Friday so make sure your persistent and get on the phone lines as soon as we open them so you don't miss out on that £2,000!

£2,000 anyone?

The competition just got a lot very exciting!  We've doubled the cash from £1,000 to £2,000, tomorrow the clues start and if we get to Friday and it the money still hasn't been won then we keep going and going until someone gets the right answer and gets all that money before the bank holiday weekend!

We have a celebrity on the phone tomorrow and Big John has to guess who it is on the phone.  The thing is they can only answer 'yes or no' to his questions and we time him to see how long it takes him to guess it right!  Will he step up to the challenge or will you guess who it is first while you're listening?!

It's back!

Big John's Ultimate Ear Test is back and it's already worth £1000!  This week across South Yorkshire we've got Ear Doctors armed with the sound so you can listen to it as many times as you want!  If you don't get to see them then make sure you're listening to Hallam FM throughout the day.  We play the game at twenty to the hour from 6am to 7pm.

Tomorrow play along with the celebrity 'Yes No Game.'  We'll be playing at 8am, Producer James lines up a celebrity via satellite and the celeb can only answer yes or no until he guesses who they are.  Play along at home.

I think we have a success story on our hands!

Last night Katherine and Mark went out on a date to Loch Fyne after hooking up on Date or Ditch yesterday.  She was after a rough around the edges no nonsense man and it sounds like that's what she got.  They've swapped numbers and Mark said he got lucky and they would recommend Date or Ditch to meet someone!

Spaced out Tuesdays ...

How are you feeling after the bank holiday weekend?  It always feels like a Monday after a bank holiday and we all feel a bit jaded but the good news is we're closer to the weekend!

Tomorrow we have some little lovelies from Herringthorpe Junior School in Rotherham spelling some words for us on the spellings test.  James and I are rubbish and I got robbed last week, I think John was trying to make James win.  I'm determined to win tomorrow at 8.

Hayley and John had to postpone their date on Date or Ditch in March because Hayley's son was poorly.  He's better now though and their off out tonight so we'll catch up with them tomorrow to see if it's true lurrvvvveeee!

It's Big Cook Little Cook!

We passed but he beat me!!!!

So we both scored the same amount of points on our driving test but Big John beat me (only by a smidgen obviously!)  I was gutted but at leats now I can drive the company cars, I was so pleased I left the show early and took one around the block!  Thanks to Lookers for lending us a car and to Bill Plant for lending us Rob to observe our 'amazing' driving skills.

After the Easter School holidays we have an amazing competition with Eton.  One lucky listener will get a make over and I'll be coming shopping with you for the day.  They'll also be chances to win designer handbags.

Woooooo hoooooo 4 points!

So yesterday Big John beat me by a point and luckily today I beat him by one with my reverse park!  So currently we're on 9 points each and tomorrow we find out who beat who in the driving test!  I feel so nervous when we're getting the results and this morning I yelped with excitement.

To me to you ...

This morning we had the Chuckle Brothers on!  I LOVED watching them when I was little.  Win tickets to see them in Rotherham all this week with Hallamster just after 7:30.

I tried not to show it this morning but I'm absolutely gutted that John beat me by a point in his 3 point turn.  I was looking in the mirrors I promise!  Oh well, hopefully he'll drop a point tomorrow.  If I don't beat him then I won't be allowed to use the company cars :(.

Driving Test Results - gulp!

So this morning we found out we're being given our driving test results slowly and painfully day by day.  If I'm honest I'm a bit annoyed because John and I scored the same amout of points for our emergency stop even though his phone was ringing grrrr.  So find I'll find out tomorrow how many points I got for one of our other manoeuvres last week - eeek.

The BIG Buzz!

It's Cash For Kids day today!!!!  We need to raise as much money as we possibly can to reach our £30,000.  Lots of brave peopl across South Yorkshire are shaving their heads to raise loads of money and X Factor's Matt Cardle was on Hallam FM this morning shaving heads.

The heat is on.  John and I took our driving test yesterday and it was very nerve wracking.  The thing that put me off the most was seeing John and James laughing at me through the rear view mirror!

The challenge in ON!!!!!

So today we (myself and John) are out on a Driving Test.  I'm determined to prove that I'm not a bad driver.  I'm currently banned from driving company cars so I'm gonna show him what I'm made off.  Don't tell him but I am pretty nervous.

It's Friday!

Dear Lookers Sheffield,

I'm writing to apologise for my wreckless driving and scuffing the alloys.  Firstly I want to say that the first time I did it I wasn't entirely to blame.  Someone had parked it really badly and that's why it happened.  The second time it happened whilst parking the car was my fault but Big John did make me angry so I wasn't concentrating properly.  I promise it won't happen again ...

It's the weekend!

Spellings test time!

This morning we had a spelling test, myself and James. Big John sprung it on us as a nasty surprise. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit gutted as James was awarded half a point unfairly. I'm not a sore loser - honest! Tomorrow morning we'll have some lovely little ones trying to spell (their considerably younger than us!) Guess along tomorrow morning at what they're trying to spell.

I'm in trouble ... Yesterday I borrowed the bosses car, I forgot my purse and didn't fill the tank up. He got in the car to go home and ran out of fuel. I got a text saying that he was 'disappointed' with me and I'm about to have a meeting with him. I only had a £1 in my bag!
