Spellings test time!

This morning we had a spelling test, myself and James. Big John sprung it on us as a nasty surprise. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit gutted as James was awarded half a point unfairly. I'm not a sore loser - honest! Tomorrow morning we'll have some lovely little ones trying to spell (their considerably younger than us!) Guess along tomorrow morning at what they're trying to spell.

I'm in trouble ... Yesterday I borrowed the bosses car, I forgot my purse and didn't fill the tank up. He got in the car to go home and ran out of fuel. I got a text saying that he was 'disappointed' with me and I'm about to have a meeting with him. I only had a £1 in my bag! Michelle's had a baby!!!!!

It's been an emotional week on Big John at Breakfast. Michelle Mary Mustard gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and we got to chat to her while she was having 'contraptions.' This morning Carrie got in touch with us about her Peanut Butter issue! Someone at work has been nicking it out of the fridge - the cheek! Michelle's waters have broken! We spoke to her this morning while she was having 'contraptions' and we're hoping her little boy/girl arrives today.

On What are the Rules Carrie put to us her dilemma about seeing her neighbours on the toliet out of the bedroom window. The best suggestion we had in was 'take a photo of them and put in on a Moonpig Card and send it them for Christmas!'

Big John has to gatecrash the Sleeping Beauty Panto at the Lyceum this Thursday night- and 200 staff at local company A4E in Sheffield will contribute a huge pile of gifts to the Christmas Cash For Kids Appeal… So he just needs some make up and tights then. Janine has offered to lend him hers and told him not to stretch them (fat chance!)

This morning on Big John at Breakfast

Did you catch the breakfast show this morning? What are the rules this morning was about ladies using the gents toilets. Gary from Crookes was annoyed about it! Producer James doesn't mind as he's in the cubicle anyway (even for a wee!) and Janine said that there's always a massive queue for the ladies so if we don't look at their bits and bobs it should be ok!?

We're you listening at 8 o clock when Jess and Matthew told us all about their date from date or ditch? She said he was lovely and he said there was lots of food ...

And in the Heat Update we found out that Gary Barlow is refusing to be a judge next year unless they get rid of Louis Walsh after all of his bitching and sniping 'ooooooooh!'

I’m off to have a baby! Thanks to Big John and Producer James for the lovely surprise of Gok Wan this morning! He called to wish me luck, plus I got cake and flowers, aren’t I lucky!

Other things that happened this week… We had Noddy Holder, (Mr Christmas) on the show and we sent Jess and Matthew off on a blind date, find out if it was love Monday morning after 8.

It was the EMAs in Belfast last night, the European Music Awards.

The big winner was Lady Gaga, the awards she won were… best video, biggest fans, best female artist and best song, for ‘Born This Way’, she was a little teary when she collected the award.

The most shocking thing to come out of the evening was a naked man on the stage, a streaker, it was blatantly set up because no security raced onto stage to help, Hayden Panettiere the actress out of the American show ‘Heros’ who was presenting an award at the time, she started chatting to him! Not the reaction you’d expect when there’s a fully naked man in front of you… Look…

Last night was the Christmas Light Switch on at Meadowhall with Tinchy Stryder (Who was drinking Baileys backstage! Not the showbiz drink you’d expect. Then cos he had another gig planned, went to Rotherham and got in a helicopter to take him down South!!! Now that is showbiz!). Ronan Parke was a little cutie with a fantastic voice and Matt Cardle was amazing.

Big John thought he was Matt Cardle in his cap, he looks like he should be a character on Emmerdale! Look…

Famous, Funny and Outrageous was how Producer James described today’s mystery guest, And he didn’t disappoint! Flamboyant Louie Spence joined the show…


He says his show “Louie Spence’s Showbusiness” is NOT coming back but he’s working on an American show for Oprah’s new channel… And despite his success, he reckons he could still use a few quid.

The fastest Big John has guessed so far was 13.8seconds when we spoke to Boy George and he let the side down when it took 6minutes and 33seconds to guess Dom Joly was on the phone. Let's hope it doesn't take that long tomorrow!

We have a cot!

9 and a bit weeks left now. The last 6 months went sooooooooo slow. Feels like I’ve been pregnant FOREVER! Now, these last couple of weeks seem to be speeding up. Eeeeeek. We are beginning to set bits up for the dog, so she gets used to. Like the cot and moving the bedroom around. She blatantly knows something is going on.

To get her ready we’ve been playing baby crying noises and carrying a doll around like a baby. If anyone happens to walk by our terraced house and happens to see us gooooin’ and ahhhhhhhing at a doll they will think we have gone nuts! It seems to be working because she doesn’t react to the crying or carrying the baby anymore.

Did you miss these fitties from the weekend?

They were on during the ad break for ‘X Factor’ on Saturday, a bunch of fit farmers started singing to us to advertise yoghurt. These lads have been talked about more than the X Factor contestants. They are called ‘The Churned’, they auditioned for advert last year in an X Factor style contest.

I can’t stop looking… They are beautiful!

Theres been lots of rumours over night that Beyonce is not actually pregnant. People are saying that she’s wearing a fake baby bump, because she’s got a surrogate mum. Now her publicist is saying what a load of rubbish. What a stupid rumour.
It’s after she was on an Australian TV talk show where when she sat down in the chair, it was like her bump went inside itself.

A tribute to Amy Winehouse was performed by Dionne Bromfield, Amy’s goddaughter, she’s said thinks it was the perfect occasion to remember her.
