Gorgeous Katherine Jenkins surprised Big John too – she’s coming to the steel city next year, and has agreed to “hit Sheffield quite hard” with Big John afterwards… He’s still smiling!....
And Big John tried telling me dinosaurs were once real. Still don’t believe it!

I love Wednesdays! As well as it being half way through the week, we play the spelling test. Kids from the School of the Week test myself and producer James, they spell out a word, we have to guess what it is. Sounds easy enough… well it’s not! I’m such a bad speller, always have been. That’s why Producer James won today. Didn’t help with Big John spelling the words along with the kids and also getting it spelling wrong. How can we guess from that! That's why I lost, not because I'm rubbish.
He says he wants to take over from Jonathan Ross ‘cos he’s “going down the pan”! Ooooooow! What do you think of a Peter Stringfellow chat show? Would you watch?

Big John went night clubbing on Saturday night! The first time since baby Tilly was born. If you saw a tall guy thinking he was a member of JLS with his jeans tucked in his boots at Replica in Sheffield, that was him with his dodgy dancing!

The 'Fast Show' is coming back, if you like the show your gonna love this, they are looking for extras to be in sketches. But the search is only on today, this afternoon on twitter. And you must be available on Tuesday to do the filming.

Can you reach the end of a rainbow? The actual weather lady off the telly called in, Kerry Gosney from ITV weather. She said you will never reach the end of a rainbow. It will always move when you move. Booooo!
Do dentists go to other dentists or do they just do it themselves? Not a silly question I think, if you have a skill like that, you should use it! But Pav from Red Sky Dental in Donny didn’t agree, he says you can’t fix yourself in front of the mirror.
And finally have you ever noticed the numbers on a keyboard on a computer and on a phone are in a different order? They are reversed! Why?? On a computer the top line is 789 but on a phone they are 123! Have a look, go on! They was a couple of theories on this, one was that there was survey and that’s how people wanted it and the other caller said it was because old style phones, like from years ago, they had the number 1 at the top! So there you go, more questions like that next Friday, bet you can’t wait!
Well this morning was different. A forfeit for Big John and Producer James for not getting involved with the ‘Fully Monty Strip’ Ed and Ollie did Sunday night. (Yes, every piece of clothing came off!), They both had to dress as me for the day…
The dates confirmed when the American X Factor will be on our tellies, on ITV2, the first one with Cheryl Cole getting axed, we’ll see her briefly on the panel. It will be on a day after its been on in American, in the past with American Idol we’ve had to wait a few weeks!
It starts next Thursday with a two-hour double bill and then it’s on again on the Friday!
Two fit boy bands in one week. What a treat! One Direction with local lad Louis from Donny and Aston from JLS! Can’t wait to see who Producer James has lined up for next week!
I can’t believe more people didn’t agree with me and John this morning. I also can’t believe me and John agreed on something! In what are the rules we asked ‘Is it ok to make your breakfast at work when you start at 9? At 9.05 you’re still making toast? Is that OK?’

It might have only been a 4 day week, but don’t you think this week has gone really slow??? Just me??? Loving the sun being back in South Yorkshire. 2 hour walk the dog got yesterday, down to Endcliffe Park… Sneezles loooooooves the sun and the steams in the park. She was a stinky dog when she got home.

Do bees and wasps hibernate?
Jez, the bee man from Sheffield Honey Company. Said yes bumble bees do, they huddle together but only queen wasps hibernate, the others die off.
What has more caffeine… tea or coffee?
Simon Bower from Pollards Coffee on Eccy Rd said it’s coffee! Course it is! Well if you were to make an average cup of tea and coffee anyway. By gram, tea has more caffeine.
And finally is there only one signed language that people use across the world? Well.. lots of calls and texts on this, apparently not. Just like the thousands of different languages in the world – theres several different signed languages. Even in England, accents can make it differ!
